MY WORK
ABOUT ME
Mia (Magdalena Brzeskot) is a Polish-born artist currently living and creating in the United Kingdom. With a foundation in painting, photography, and design, her artistic path has always been guided by curiosity and experimentation.
Her early works, shown in solo exhibitions as a teenager in Koszalin and Poznań, revealed an expressive spirit shaped by both family tradition and formal training. After graduating with honors in Visual Communication from the Institute of Industrial Design, she moved between disciplines—painting, graphic design, animation, and later, photography—collaborating on film projects and participating in international exhibitions.
In recent years, her artistic focus has returned to abstract painting, where her practice explores the emotional charge of colour, light, and form. Using a technique that merges oil painting with her own experimental methods, she creates vivid, intuitive compositions inspired by perception, memory, and inner transformation.
Whether working with macro photography or large-scale canvases, Mia approaches each piece with a sense of awakening—seeking connection through the sensory and the seen.
